Universal Newborn Hearing Screening (UNHS) is quickly becoming the standard of care in countries throughout the world. With this rapid expansion in newborn care, the need for UNHS programme management at both regional and national levels is becoming increasingly important. This symposium will bring together public health and medical professionals who are responsible for establishing newborn hearing screening programs at these levels. Experts who have developed extensive U.S. programs will be presenting information on strategic program management of all elements of a successful screening and intervention program. The symposium will also include forums, providing opportunities to network with Europe's top leaders in the UNHS effort.
